Tutoring
Working 1-on-1 on challenges faced in math. We will work together to set goals, strategize and find the best way to learn these challenges.
Every student has a different learning strategy, and I learn that, and create lessons surrounding those passions. It allows the student to have fun, relax and learn at the same time.
You want to help your student, but you may not have the tools to help them. You want them to love learning and enjoy school, but they face academic challenges.
That's why I've created my tutoring program! Through my tutoring services, I work with your student to learn the challenges, plan for success, set goals, and work through those challenges together to achieve a specific set of goals.
1-on-1 Tutoring
IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL
We finish the session with a game or recap.
After session I will send an email follow-up to parents of what we did, things we enjoy doing, what I notice as a tutor and what we plan to work on next session.
After a set amount of sessions, retesting will take place to see the progress.
We will start the time together with a grade appropriate assessment. I will then grade it and create a custom lesson plan for the student.
During each session following, we begin with a warm-up activity. Then we go through 2-3 lessons of main content.
The tutoring sessions

prepare for a test.
